Hourglass Builders is led by Tyler Hansen, a Florida certified general contractor (CGC1536557) based in Orlando. Tyler founded Hourglass in 2024 after years managing reconstruction in insurance restoration, rebuilding homes after mold, wind, fire, and water losses, from minor repairs to full rebuilds.

That experience shapes how we work: find out what failed, understand how the home was built, coordinate the right specialists when a project needs them, and deliver lasting structural and reconstruction solutions, not cosmetic patches.

We specialize in water intrusion, hidden damage, termite damage repair, insurance reconstruction, structural repairs, and projects other contractors walk away from. We also plan and build kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and substantial renovations with the same attention to what is behind the walls.
